FlyingPress 5.6: Redis Object Caching

Redis Object Caching

FlyingPress 5.6 introduces Redis object caching.

With a single toggle, you can enable Redis object caching directly from the FlyingPress dashboard and monitor its connection status, memory usage, and cache hit ratio.

Redis Object Cache in FlyingPress: Setup, Benefits & Performance Test

Why Use Redis Object Cache?

While page caching speeds up cached pages, dynamic pages such as WooCommerce carts, checkouts, account pages, and membership areas still rely heavily on database queries.

Redis stores the results of those queries in memory, helping reduce database load and improve response times.

Benefits include:

  • Faster dynamic pages
  • Reduced database queries
  • Lower server load
  • Better performance for WooCommerce and membership sites

Simple Setup

If your hosting provider supports Redis, FlyingPress can connect to it automatically. No additional plugins required.

For FlyingHost users, Redis is preconfigured and ready to use out of the box.

Available Now

Redis Object Cache is available in FlyingPress 5.6.

Update to the latest version and enable Object Cache from the Caching tab to get started.
